ISO Images
Prerequisites
- Access Level: Admin, Super-admin.
- Permission Requirements:
- . VM Administration
- View raw Libvirt volumes (images)
- Upload raw Libvirt volumes (images)
- View all VM images
- Create VM images (from Libvirt volumes)
- View all VM images
- Edit any VM image
- Delete any VM image
- View all hardware/image setups in the system
- Create hardware/image setups
- Edit hardware/image setups
- Arbitrarily delete any hardware/image setup
- View host machines and hardware information in any Libvirt realm
Access the ISO Images in Management
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Virtual Machines section.
- Click the ISO Images in the left panel.
View Basic Information of an ISO Image
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Virtual Machines section.
- Click the ISO Images in the left panel.
- Select the ISO Image to view basic information.
- Click the View button in the top right panel.
- In the left panel, view the ISO image name and description.
- Under the Basic Info subsection, view the owner, realm, file, whether or not is bootable, service-only, creation date readers and tokens.
Upload an ISO Image
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Virtual Machines section.
- Click the ISO Images in the left panel.
- Click the Upload ISO button in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, enter the ISO Image realm and drag-and-drop the ISO image from your local machine or click the box area to import it.
- Enter the ISO image name, description, boot permissions, teams, and users.
- Click Save.
caution
If no teams or users are assigned to an ISO image, it will become public.
Create a Dedicated Bootable ISO Image for Service VMs
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Virtual Machines section.
- Click the ISO Images in the left panel.
- Click the Upload ISO button in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, enter the ISO Image realm and drag-and-drop the ISO image from your local machine or click the box area to import it.
- Enter the ISO image name, description, teams, and users.
- Under Should this ISO be bootable? select Yes, but only service VMs can be started from it.
- Click Save.
Bulk Email All Users Associated with ISO Image(s)

- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Virtual Machines section.
- Click the ISO Images in the left panel.
- Select the ISO image(s) to send a bulk email to its(their) associated users.
- In the left panel, click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Bulk Email.
- In the pop-up, click Copy to copy the emails or click Download to download the emails.
- Once done, click Close.
